I am a scholar, editor, and writer currently based in Tucson, Arizona, and also in Shanghai, China, when life permits. As a PhD candidate at the University of Arizona, I’m writing a dissertation on global modernism and aesthetic form, featuring chapters on Virginia Woolf, Yoko Ono, Wilson Harris, and Can Xue. My interests also include critical theory, the Frankfurt School, authorship, experimental literature, and links between Chinese and American literatures.

My creative work spans poetry, fiction, screenwriting, and translation, published in various journals including Post Road, Literary Hub, Swamp Ape, Lucky Jefferson, and A Thin Slice of Anxiety.

Committed to literary community building through my work with the Spittoon Collective, I publish the literary magazine Spittoon Monthly, manage content for SpittoonCollective.com, and organize new projects such as the Spittoon Meridians reading series.
